Fooling someone just for a smirk,
Is a lethal weapon that cuts like dirk
To anyone whose mind narrowed,
To anyone who loathes to be irked.
Let them fool in April, let them fool one day.
It is tradition; it begs no say
To anyone, it is normal,
like the sun in the dawn.
But cherish this day, fret not to be fooled,
To each to his own, there’s a fool to a fool.
A fool fooling a fool; it begets foolishness,
But to be fooled be genuine shall be pure happiness.
